"the greats"
the new york times "style" magazine was in today's paper and it is all about "the greats"...
"the greats" would seem to be a designer, an actress, an artist, and an architect...doubtlessly all talented people...although there have been artists who were ( and are ) utterly arrogant shits and i am inclined to believe great actors are great because they have little sense of who they actually are and so are malleable in terms of taking on a persona...
as far as architects go, bijoy jain seems to have built a "concept" house indicating "what an indian building might be" in "alibag, a cluster of coastal villages just outside of mumbai"...
here's an "exterior" of bijoy's house that "betrays its airy interiors"...
here's some more mumbai area housing along what would seem to be a stagnant canal...wondering if these residents would like to be betrayed to some "airy interiors"...bijoy can pound sand...
in designer terms, what would a "style" magazine be without a costly set of what i assume to be practical joke clothing foisted on wealthy women as subtle revenge...$7180 worth of satire or just overt cruelty...fuck these people.

europeans are fanatics about internet privacy
so i was curious about what old boris johnson was up to and finding nothing much in the new york times i tuned in the bbc...
their website seemed to be ignoring him as well so out of boredom i clicked on the icon for the tracker blocking add on on duckduckgo...
and this popped up...six trackers blocked? whom might they be?
"they" might be these slime...so much for the unbiased honesty and integrity of the bbc...bias is everywhere...no one is interested in fact, much less "truth"...it's al about the money...fuck these people.

all culture...no anthropology
today's annual "culture" issue of the new york times sunday magazine...featuring writers, dances, and actors...undeniably part of a culture...that segment devoted to "fine arts" which is what is often mistaken for culture in its entirety...particularly by the new york times...
and brought to you by...verizon...hell bent on making football even more mind numbing and pointless...
condominiums " soaring above the hudson"...and starting at what? only $2.8 million...
and a bank that understands "private clubs"...objectivism ( not objective news ) made corporeal...
